This type of massage uses gentle, flowing strokes and light to moderate
pressure to help promote relaxation, increase circulation, and reduce stress. Swedish massage techniques have been
shown to aid in the relief of disorders ranging from headaches to congestion and swelling (edema). It is typically
a relatively gentle massage that will help to relax tired, tense muscles, and can be a great way to help you unwind
from a stressful day. |

This type of therapeutic massage uses specific techniques to find and
alleviate trigger points (TRPs) in the muscles. Muscles that contain TRPs cannot function at their optimum level,
leading to pain, discomfort, reduced flexibility and extensibility, and - in more extreme cases - limited joint
mobility as well. |

The ultimate therapeutic experience! You may have heard about this
one-of-a-kind treatment...now try it for yourself. Warmed, smooth basalt stones and river rocks simply melt away
tension in tight, stressed, overworked muscles. Use of the stones can be integrated into almost any of your massage
or spa treatments. Or you may choose to experience the hot stones in an incredibly soothing full-body massage like
none you?ve ever had before. In fact, a full-body session is so relaxing, it's the perfect treatment to consider
if you have trouble sleeping at night. |

For this type of massage, Carrie uses a specially-designed massage
chair that allows access to her client's back, neck, shoulders, and arms. During a chair massage, relaxation and
therapeutic techniques (performed over the client's clothing and without the use of lotions) help promote relaxation,
increase circulation, and relax tense muscles. Chair massage is a wonderful "introduction" to massage
for those who have never before received a massage. It can also be a great alternative to a traditional "table"
massage for those crunched for time or money, or for those who find it uncomfortable to lie on a massage table.
In fact, the massage chair Carrie uses even has removable knee rests, allowing the client to sit in an upright
position without putting pressure on sensitive knees - great for those who have arthritis in their knees or for
those recovering from knee replacement surgery.
On-Site Chair Massage - Carrie is now pleased to offer on-site chair massage services. Whether you'd like
to reward employees, thank your best clients, or add a little flair to any special event,
Carrie offers many options to fit your needs - and your budget! For more information, click here. |
